A guide book for Croatian museums was published in Croatia, which includes 300 museums, exhibitions and collections with a general fund of almost seven million items.

The publication has been created for 16 years.

All museums are grouped by regions and cities of Croatia for convenience in the guide book.

Vacations, journeys, entertainment…When at work people think of, are looking forward to, make plans for and at last have holiday. It goes without saying that people seem to be all unlike and thus we tend to display a great variety of tastes.

Some of us are unable to imagine a rest not having azure salty sea water, sand, palms, heat combined with getting tanned. Other like camping and exciting mountain journeys, that include climbing, making fire as well as sleeping under the sky.

Croatia: Excursion the ancient city walls of Ston will be paid

In late September, after eight years of intensive restoration work, walls of the ancient Croatian city of Ston will be open for tourists. And in a society of antiques lovers, since its founding in 1952, takes care of the fortress walls of Ston, as well as on the ramparts of the old Dubrovnik, reported that in the next year before the Easter holidays will be opened and a large wall connects Ston with the Small Ston.

Zagreb is a city of legends and stories, museums, and business traditions, science and art, certainly deserves the status of central European capital.

Zagreb became the capital of Croatia in 1557. The city is located on the southern slopes of the hill Medvednica Zagreb. Medieval Zagreb formed from two cities in the Twin Kaptola and Hradec from XI to XIII century. Center Kaptola is the cathedral of St. Stephen, and the center of Hradec was the church of St. Mark. In Kaptole already in 1094 began to settle clergy, while Hradec considered artisan quarter.
