Hotels in Croatia are recognized one of the best in Europe

Organization of World Travel Awards gave a prestigious award to the hotels in Croatia, which were recognized the best in Europe.
There were 12 candidates in eight categories from Croatia.
Tourist “Oscar” was given to hotels Dubrovnik Palace and Le Meridien Lav in Split.
In addition, Hotel Monte Mulini in Rovinj was recognized the finest boutique hotel of the country, Imperial Hilton in Dubrovnik was called the leading hotel in the country.
It is noteworthy that the award World Travel Awards was given to Le Meridien Lav in Split for the eighth time.
This year it competed with French Evian Resort and Swiss Kempinski St.Moritz, it was said in the press release of Department of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia.
In total, the competition involved more than five thousand organizations from 160 countries.
The following European hotels were also awarded: Sofitel Heathrow in London – as the best hotel at the airport, Concorde De Luxe in Turkey – a recognized leader.
