Romania and Croatia intend to develop bilateral relations

At a meeting of the delegates from Romania and Croatia, it was decided to open a new air route Bucharest – Zagreb, which, according to the representatives of both countries, will strengthen bilateral ties.
According to «Romanian Times», the foreign ministers of Croatia and Romania Teodor Baconschi and Gordan Jandrokovic met in Zagreb to discuss issues of bilateral relations.
The countries are intended to start cooperation in energy, tourism, metallurgy, as well as to develop a program to protect the rights of national minorities.
“West of Croatia is inhabited by representatives of Romanian community, whose right for national identity we intend to protect,” – said Jandrokovic.
Seven thousand Croats live in Romania.
